After the initial horror and grief of David’s passing away, as I sat in the living room of our home with my Mom, my Sister, the nurse, the home care aid, and the social worker. I cried as I looked at David and saw how much cancer had taken from him, and from us. I told hospice care crew about the amazing man he was that they never knew. I was upset that they knew David as a person stricken with cancer. To show a glimpse of my David, I popped in our wedding video.
Below is a snippet of some pictures from our wedding.

My memories of David…..in his running shoes and shorts….and his telling me “you can’t keep up with me Deola”….. His unquantifiable love for his girl…..the way he looks at you….He could literally move mountain for his girls…..This is a good man down, way too soon!
